Abstrair não no sentido de transcender, pelo contrário, abstrair no sentido de perceber sensações :

atingir a quentura e dormência da pedra,

almejar a transparência da água,
to aim for the water transparency,
ver os peixes virem à tona,

estar também à tona para captar a superfície das coisas.

E finalmente, uma vez que peixes e humanos esgotaram as migalhas e as cerejas, partem os primeiros para o fundo do lago, partem os últimos para o avesso do fundo do lago.
Como se fosse preciso ir até o fundo das coisas para poder retornar à superfície delas. Ou, em outros termos, como se fosse preciso fazer uma pausa do sentido corriqueiro das coisas para melhor saboreá-las.
And finally, once fishes and humans finished crumbs and cherries, the former leave to the lake bottom, the latter leave to the contrary of the lake bottom.
As if it were necessary to reach the bottom of things in order to return to their surface. Or, in other words, as if it were necessary to take a break from the ordinary sense of things in order to better taste them.
Há algo de bíblico aqui, com os peixes certamente se sentindo aliviados de que, desta vez, a multiplicação se deu com essas deliciosas cerejas e não com eles.
